Working Student: in in Management Consulting

We are looking for an interested student (m/f/d) as a working student in our headquarters in Wuppertal for the field of Information Security or Data Protection.

Are you studying IT Law, (Business) Informatics, Law, Business Administration, or comparable fields and are you interested in management consulting? Tasks

What are your tasks? In addition to internal tasks, you will be entrusted with the following tasks within the scope of activities for our clients:

• In the scope of supporting our client projects and internal data protection initiatives, you will undertake the following exciting and varied tasks, among others:
• Support in advising on fundamental issues and individual case decisions in data protection (e.g., GDPR, BDSG, industry-specific regulations)
• Participation in audits, revisions, and analyses (e.g., data protection impact assessments, review of processing records)
• Evaluation of technical-organizational measures (TOM) for the protection of personal data
• Involvement in the creation and maintenance of data protection concepts, guidelines, and training materials
• Support in training and awareness measures for employees and clients (including preparation of content for e-learning materials)
• Research and preparation of current data protection legal developments (e.g., court decisions, guidelines from supervisory authorities)

Qualification

What should you bring with you? We would be pleased to receive the following competencies:

• Studies related to data protection, IT law, (business) informatics, law, business administration, or comparable fields
• Interest in data protection topics – initial basic knowledge in data protection law (GDPR, BDSG) or technology is desirable, but not a prerequisite
• Analytical thinking and structured approach to work
• Communication skills: Clear expression in speech and writing (fluent German (C2); English desirable)
• IT affinity: Good knowledge of common IT systems and Office applications
• Customer orientation: Enjoyment of interaction with colleagues and clients
• Flexibility: Willingness for occasional travel (car driver's license advantageous)
• Sociability and enjoyment of interacting with clients
• Ability to express oneself clearly in speech and writing (fluent German is mandatory; English desirable)
• good knowledge of IT systems
• optional: existing knowledge in the field of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) according to ISO 2700x
