Student Assistant in Product Compliance & Safety at easyCE

You will support your colleagues and customers directly in the coordination and implementation of projects for the EU conformity assessment procedure (CE marking) with a focus on the areas of mechanical engineering, electrical appliances, and consumer products.

We are looking for long-term cooperation. We have the goal of hiring you permanently and permanently after completing your studies.

We were founded in the southern German region, but are completely digital and therefore geographically independent. We live 100% "work from home".

Tasks

• You will create product analyses to determine and specify the intended use and product properties and create and optimize work and action instructions.
• You will conduct legal basis research to determine the relevant EU directives and standards and risk analyses to determine and evaluate the hazards in all life phases of the product.
• You will define and establish safety concepts and risk-reducing measures and determine performance levels for safety-oriented control functions.
• You will coordinate, accompany, and evaluate measurements and tests and check and create operating and maintenance instructions based on the requirements from EU directives and standards.
• You will have the opportunity to participate in customer visits for data recording, seminars, and other activities after a short familiarization period.

Qualification

• You have completed your studies in the field of engineering or natural sciences (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics) or a comparable degree program and have completed an apprenticeship or have practical experience in this field.
• You bring a high level of IT affinity, good MS-Office skills, and possibly even knowledge of specialized software (e.g. 3D-CAD, Sistema).
• You are characterized by a good understanding, technical understanding, and a developed organizational talent and work solution-oriented, carefully, structured, independently, and self-responsibly and have a high level of initiative.
• You are motivated, team-oriented, open to the requests of colleagues or customers, curious, and have a quick understanding of new areas and problem fields, have a convincing appearance on all levels of conversation with assertiveness and are open to travel activities and working with guidelines and standards.
• You have very good German and English skills in writing and speaking, which rounds off your profile.
