Working Student: Graphic Design (m/f/x)

Good communication doesn't just need the right words. It needs a visual idea that makes complex content understandable, makes brands recognizable, and works across different formats.
This is exactly where you will support our team. You will design content for PIABO and our clients from the digital economy, from infographics and white papers to social media content, presentations, and brand identities. We are not looking for someone who just executes design cleanly. We are looking for someone who thinks along, recognizes visual connections, and is eager to develop a compelling solution from a briefing.

This is your responsibility:

• You will conceptualize and design infographics and illustrations that convey even complex content clearly and comprehensibly.
• You will create layouts for white papers, brochures, and other publications and reliably prepare the associated print data.
• You will take on image editing and retouching, ensuring that visual worlds are implemented consistently and to a high standard.
• You will organize your tasks in a structured manner and keep an eye on quality requirements, formats, and timings.

• You will develop social media content such as graphics, posts, and short videos for internal and external communication channels.
• You will design business equipment, such as trade fair stands, roll-ups, and business cards.
• You will visually prepare presentations and develop master templates that teams can use for consistent further work.
• You will contribute to corporate designs and brand identities for our clients and translate strategic ideas into concrete design.
• Occasionally, you will conceptualize and design web designs and prototypes using Wix, WordPress, or Figma.

• AI and Image Generation: You will learn how we develop prompts, evaluate visual results, and integrate AI meaningfully into creative processes.
• Design Processes at PIABO: We will show you how briefings, feedback loops, client requirements, and collaboration with PR, Content, Social Media, and Brand Strategy work with us.
• Tools and Workflows: You will receive a structured introduction to our way of working with Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Suite, as well as relevant templates and filing structures.
• Professional and personal development through PIABO Academies.

• You are studying Communication Design, Graphic Design, Media Design, or a comparable field and can show us how you approach design with a portfolio.
• You are proficient with Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Our projects range from print-ready brochures to digital assets. Therefore, you should not only be able to develop ideas but also implement them technically cleanly and reliably.
• You are curious about new forms of visual work. AI prompting and AI-supported image generation are part of our modern design process. You don't have to be an AI professional yet, but you should be willing to experiment with how technology can make your work better, not more arbitrary.
