Working Student: Customer Success & Growth

bettermarks is the leading adaptive learning system for mathematics in the German-speaking world, used by around 500,000 students and 20,000 teachers. We already work closely with ministries of education in over 10 federal states. The Customer Success & Growth team is responsible for acquiring new schools for our platform as well as onboarding, supporting, and retaining existing customers.

So that even more schools can benefit from bettermarks, we want to specifically target heads of mathematics departments who are already using bettermarks for free. For this, we are looking for someone who systematically finds out who the right contact person is at the schools. This sounds easier than it is. Secretariats are busy, information is not always readily available – we need someone who is friendly, persistent, and has a good sense for the right tone when speaking on the phone. The focus will be on the following:

• Researching schools and systematically calling them
• Briefly and concisely presenting bettermarks in conversation
• Finding out and cleanly documenting the contact details of heads of mathematics departments
• Recording conversation results and transferring them to our database

• Enrolled at a university
• Enjoy phone conversations and a naturally friendly demeanor
• Structured, independent way of working
• Native-level German proficiency

• Experience in the education sector or sales is a plus, but not a requirement.

• Insight into support, account management, and customer acquisition simultaneously
