We are looking for a Werkstudent:in in the field of Full-Stack Software Development (w/m/d) with interest in Web-Product development and experiences with AI/LLMs. You support us in expanding our GovTech platform for public administrations and work closely with the founders.

• Rolle: Werkstudent:in Full-Stack Software Development (GovTech & AI)
• Standort: Remote-first from Germany or Austria (with occasional team meetings after agreement and the possibility of using offices in Munich and Garching)
• Umfang: ideally 20 Std./Woche (min. 15 Std./Woche after agreement, flexible according to semester)
• Start: immediately or after agreement
• Vergütung: 20 € / Stunde

Über uns

Lexaru is a young GovTech/LegalTech startup that digitalizes administrative processes with modern applications. Our products contribute to more efficient administration and better services for citizens.

We work, among others, with municipal administrations/foreigners' authorities/faculties together and build specialized applications for civil servants. Lexaru combines clean product development with AI-supported modules in secure and transparent systems.

The team currently consists of the 3 founders and serves several customers, including the state capital of Düsseldorf. We are supported by the Legal Tech Colab at TU Munich and the AI Nation platform.

Aufgaben

Deine Aufgaben

Full-Stack Product development (Frontend & Backend)

• Development and further development of Product features in frontend and backend.
• Implementation of features from specification to release, including Testing, Code-Reviews, and clean technical documentation.
• Participation in internal tools (e.g. Admin workflows, data maintenance, monitoring) as well as process improvement and user flow optimization.

Ai / Llm

• Implementation and further development of Ai-functions in the product.
• BUILDING and maintaining quality assurance for AI functions (e.g. evaluations, logging, guardrails, error analysis).

Zusammenarbeit & Arbeitsweise

• Tight collaboration with the founders and team, including coordination of requirements, prioritization, and pragmatic technical decisions.
• Working with Git and Pull Requests, including clear PR descriptions and review culture.

Deine eigenen Projekte

• Taking over your own project area if you bring in a topic that is relevant to Lexaru (e.g. Developer Experience, Tooling, Automation, Performance, Quality, Product Ideas).
• Defining goals, scope, and milestones together with the team and implementing them independently.

Qualifikation

Dein Profil

Must Haves

• You are enrolled (e.g. Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Engineering etc.).
• You have first practical experience in programming (e.g. university projects, work student/practicum, open source).
• You feel comfortable with modern web technologies (e.g. TypeScript, a frontend framework like Svelte/Vue/React).
• You work structured, communicate clearly, and bring things to an end.
• Linguistic skills: very good German (important due to GovTech context) and very good English.

Nice to Haves

• First experience with backend (e.g. Node.js, Python/Django) and databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
• First experiences with AI/LLMs, RAG, and prompting.
• First experience with Git, CI, and tests.
