Work Student/In: Renewable Energy Specialist/In

moverloop simplifies access to locally generated, green power for companies in rented buildings and for Asset Managers. Our focus lies on tenant electricity and on-site supply solutions tailored to the needs of building owners and users.

Our mission is to create sustainable and efficient energy systems that not only provide economic benefits for companies but also make a measurable contribution to the energy transition.

Tasks

• Analysis of renewable energy markets with focus on solar energy and battery storage
• Evaluation of PV and storage potential for commercial properties
• Participation in the development of energy products for tenants and building owners (B2B)
• Support in designing and rolling out technical, regulatory, and internal processes
• Assistance in implementing legal requirements (e.g. EEG, EnWG, measurement and billing concepts)
• Support in operational operation and customer support
• Optional: Participation in project management of PV and battery storage projects

Qualification

• Familiarity or first-hand experience in the field of solar energy and battery storage
• Studies in the field of renewable energies, environmental sciences, economics engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable
• Interest in regulatory and procedural questions in the German energy market (no prior knowledge required)
• Analytical thinking and structured working style
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking (at least C1)
• Good English language skills are an asset
• Self-initiative, willingness to learn, and interest in start-up structures
• Passion for sustainability and the energy transition
