As a growing start-up with its seat in Berlin, we develop software for digital monitoring and control of heating and entire sector coupling systems. We connect heat pumps, PV systems, storage units, and charging infrastructure and optimize real-time operation.

As Work Student:in in the Sector Coupling Team, you will work on implementing our energy management system in real projects with.

Aufgaben

• You support product development and rollout of our new energy management system (EMS) for multi-family homes and contribute directly to reducing the energy costs of tenants and building heat transition.
• You test buildings and facilities technically, e.g., regarding communication interfaces, device selection, manufacturers, and PV power consumption models.
• You analyze the potential for energy optimization of sector coupling systems.
• You assist with onboarding processes for new devices and help standardize these to scale up product development.
• You conduct market research, capturing coverage of relevant devices like inverters, heat pumps, and controllers.
• You support the team in daily business, e.g., with organizational tasks, preparing events, or creating presentations.

Qualifikation

• You speak German at least C1 level.
• You are an enrolled student:in in advanced Bachelor or Master studies, e.g., electrical engineering, civil engineering, or industrial engineering; ideally with a focus on building efficiency, energy economics, or energy technology.
• You have a desire for a dynamic start-up environment, bring a hands-on mentality and willingly take responsibility.
• You quickly adapt to new contexts – from product and processes to projects and strategic questions.
• You are interested in innovative technologies in the energy and data field and work independently to learn about new technical topics.
• You communicate clearly and structuredly, even when exchanging with external partners and customers.
• You have time to dedicate yourself to 16-20 hours per week at our company.
