Since its founding in 2007, MLase GmbH has developed and produced Excimer lasers for ophthalmology, such as medical products and laser components for the medical technology and industry. Through constant innovation and maximum quality requirements, we are leading globally in our segment.

MLase is starting a development project for a research Excimer laser for analytical technology – creatively, experimentally, and with high personal responsibility. The core team consists of three students from different departments and designs the development almost from scratch with the support of our experts.

Tasks

You can look forward to:

-Development and design of a high-voltage circuit for an Excimer tube

-Conceptualization of control and trigger electronics

-Conducting tests and measurements to validate the prototypes

as well as

-Development of the mechanical and mechatronic design of a mini-Excimer tube

-Construction of mechanical components from idea to prototype (concept, CAD, 3D printing)

-Assembly, integration, and functional testing of mechanical components

Qualification

Our requirements:

-Study of Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or comparable

-Great curiosity and enthusiasm for getting involved in complex topics

-Meticulous work style and collegial demeanor

-Enjoyment of practical development and testing

-Secure and sovereign communication – in German and English
