Student Assistant E-Commerce / Marketplaces (m/w/d) 20 Hours per Week

NICO Europe GmbH can look back on over 100 years of market experience in the fireworks industry and counts among the leading providers for pyrotechnics in Germany. Our business consists of trading in New Year's Eve and firework articles as well as adjacent product lines. We live firework - and are looking for support in our office at the Berlin location for e-commerce and marketplaces.

Aufgaben

The main goal of this position is to provide operational and strategic support for our e-commerce business on online marketplaces, particularly Amazon. You will support us in identifying new product potential, setting up product data, optimizing listings, and reliably monitoring the ongoing marketplace operations.

Your interesting tasks with us:

• Support in managing and developing our online marketplaces, particularly Amazon
• Research, evaluation, and preparation of new article and product line potential for online sales
• Data entry, maintenance, and optimization of product data, listings, texts, images, keywords, and relevant mandatory information
• Support in troubleshooting marketplace issues, such as faulty listings, catalog problems, or technical notifications
• Monitoring and support of operational marketplace processes, particularly around FBA, FBM, inventory, availability, and shipping workflows
• Evaluation of relevant key figures and derivation of simple action recommendations for improving product lines, content, and processes
• Closely working with marketing, sales, procurement, warehouse, and customer service to ensure a smooth marketplace business

Qualifikation

We are looking forward to you bringing the following qualifications & skills:

• You are enrolled student*in, ideally in a master's program, such as business administration, marketing, e-commerce, business informatics, media management, or a comparable field of study
• You have ideally gained first practical experiences in e-commerce, online marketing, marketplace management, or product data maintenance
• You are interested in online marketplaces and how products can be made visible and buyable online
• You work structured, carefully, and reliably and enjoy getting familiar with new systems and processes
• You bring a good understanding of numbers, data, and product information
• You are confident in handling MS Office, particularly Excel; first experiences with Amazon Seller Central, Shopware, inventory management systems, or analysis tools are an advantage
• You possess very good German language skills and good English language skills in writing and speaking

We are also looking forward to:

• First experiences with Amazon FBA, Amazon FBM, Amazon Advertising, or marketplace SEO
• Interest in product management, product line development, and the operational control of online sales channels
• A basic understanding of image and content requirements on online marketplaces
• An analytical mindset and the willingness to actively participate in and improve operational tasks
