About us

Joy_ is based on a simple idea: giving should be easy and bring genuine joy, rather than ending in riddles about sizes, colors or unsuitable products. That's why we developed the first universal gift card, allowing recipients to choose any physical product online. Our own AI agent technology makes it possible, finding products, comparing prices, processing orders and triggering delivery. We are a rapidly growing tech startup from Berlin and are currently building the infrastructure for the future of gifting and shopping.

In our Christmas broadcast on Die Höhle der Löwen, we presented our vision and made a deal with Janna Ensthaler. We have just completed our seed round of 1.25 million euros with IBB Ventures, Angel Invest, Swiss Founders Fund and other partners to further develop our platform. Our cards will soon be available in around 2,000 stores from MediaMarkt, Saturn and selected Edeka markets, and our international team is continuously growing. To ensure a seamless experience for our customers, we are looking for you in customer support.

Your role

As an intern in customer support at Joy_, you will be the voice of Joy_. You will help our customers with friendly, fast and solution-oriented responses and contribute to ensuring that both givers and recipients have a smooth and enjoyable experience. At the same time, you will gain exciting insights into the operations of a tech startup and can bring your own ideas.

Tasks

• You will answer customer inquiries by email and ensure a quick, warm and helpful experience
• You will coordinate orders, returns and special cases with our partners
• You will recognize recurring problems and help to make processes smarter
• You will work closely with Product & Tech to make Joy_ even better

Qualification

• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking, as well as a clear and friendly communication style
• Ideal experience in customer support, but no requirement
• Reliability and the ability to work structured and carefully
• A willingness to take responsibility and think about everyday life
• An interest in developing processes further and bringing your own ideas
