Werkstudent:in Customer Support (d/w/m)
Job description
We were founded in 2017 in Germany and are today a global fitness movement with events on five continents, where tens of thousands of athletes participate each season.
To strengthen our Customer Support Team, we are looking for a motivated student assistant (d/w/m) as of February 1st, 2026, who is eager to be our first point of contact and support our athletes and spectators with any questions they may have.
YOUR TASKS
- First Point of Contact: You are the first point of contact for our community. Whether by email or through our ticket system, you answer questions about events, tickets, and our rules.
- Problem Solving: You handle incoming requests independently, prioritize tickets efficiently, and find a quick and friendly solution for each problem.
- Customer Journey: Through your empathetic and proactive communication, you ensure that our athletes feel well taken care of from ticket purchase to the finish line.
- Teamwork: You work closely with international teams and escalate complex cases, if necessary, to the Global Customer Experience Manager.
- Weekend Support: As our events usually take place on weekends, you occasionally support the team on weekends to ensure live support.
- Feedback Loop: You recognize recurring questions or trends and provide this feedback internally to continuously improve our processes.
Your Profile
- Status: You are currently enrolled at a university in BWL, VWL, Sports Management, or similar for at least the 2nd semester in Baden-Württemberg.
- Experience: Ideally, you have already gained some experience in customer contact.
- Mindset: You are communicative, patient, and keep a cool head even when faced with high pressure. Service orientation is in your blood.
- Tech-Stack: You are a digital native. Handling the Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) is second nature to you. Knowledge of ticketing tools (e.g., Zendesk) is a plus, but not a must – we'll teach you everything.
- Languages: You communicate confidently and error-free in German and English. Other languages are always welcome at our international company.
- Passion: You have an interest in sports and events and can identify with the HYROX spirit.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- The opportunity to take on responsibility in a rapidly growing, international company with a sporty DNA.
- Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and plenty of room for your ideas.
- A motivated, international team with genuine passion for sports and events.
- A modern office in Top location – directly in Hamburg Altona with excellent connections
- Look forward to a Wellpass membership and discounted lunch directly at the office
- Your Germany ticket is taken care of by us – 100% covered, nationwide mobile
- Employee discount in our HYROX Stores
