We are looking for an intern or trainee (m/w/d) – Basketball, Social Impact & Community Growth

We at Players for Good are building a movement at the intersection of sport, social impact, and community. For this, we are seeking a smart, independent intern or trainee (m/w/d) in Cologne who is eager to take responsibility and shape our early startup environment.

Tasks

You will work closely with the founding team of Players for Good and help us build a platform at the intersection of basketball, community, and social impact.

Your tasks may include:

• BUILDING & MAINTAINING OUR SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS (FOCUS: BASKETBALL COMMUNITY)

• COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT & DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR TARGET GROUP

• OUTREACH & CUSTOMER SERVICE (E.G. BASKETBALL CLUBS, PARTNERS & ORGANIZATIONS)

• COMMUNICATION WITH NON-PROFITS AND SOCIAL IMPACT PARTNERS

• SUPPORTING CROWDFUNDING AND GROWTH CAMPAIGNS

• PREPARATION & CONDUCT OF PRODUCT DEMOS FOR STAKEHOLDERS

• GENERAL ALL-ROUND SUPPORT IN STARTUP LIFE

Qualification

We are not looking for a perfect CV, but someone who is really eager to take responsibility:

• You work structured, independently and proactively

• You have strong communication skills (written & verbal)

• You are interested in basketball, social impact, and startups

• First experience in social media, marketing, sales, project management or NGOs is a plus

• You are an all-rounder and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment

• You think with, rather than just doing tasks
