Working Student: Business Operations

Part Time Remote Lead

Job description

We are digitizing the construction industry. Are you in?

At VESTIGAS, you will build the digital foundation of the construction supply chain: We are transforming orders, delivery slips, and invoices into a digital, legally compliant platform that is used in the daily lives of construction companies and suppliers. You will work on a product with real market penetration in a huge DACH mid-market, deliver results iteratively, and take ownership of solutions that must work in practice and not just in concept.

Your Role

As a working student in Business Operations, you will help build VESTIGAS's operating system: the processes, data, and formats with which we manage the company – OKR process and All-Hands, reporting and key figures, data quality in the CRM, and the automation of recurring workflows. We are still at the beginning of many of these topics: You won't be working in established structures, but will be laying the foundation.

For this, we are looking for someone who is eager to tackle things themselves – someone who wants to understand how things really work today and turn that into processes and data that can still hold up when the team size doubles. You will work closely with the person currently driving these topics: You will have their back, learn directly from them, and gradually take on your own responsibilities. And you will get an honest look at how a fast-growing start-up functions from the inside.

Your Tasks

  • You will support the preparation, execution, and follow-up of our recurring steering and communication formats, especially the OKR process and our All-Hands – from content preparation to follow-up with those responsible.
  • You will consolidate data from various sources, prepare key figures and analyses, and keep an eye on data quality in our CRM and other tools – including cleaning up where necessary.
  • You will analyze existing processes, develop scalable solutions, and implement them – from guidelines and tool migrations to automating recurring steps with AI tools and agents.
  • You will increasingly take on clearly defined topics independently, driving them from the initial idea to a clean, practical solution.

Your Profile

  • You are studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a comparable field with above-average performance, and are in the final year of your Bachelor's or already in your Master's program.
  • You have initial relevant practical experience from internships – e.g., in consulting or a fast-growing start-up.
  • You have drive: You think proactively instead of waiting for instructions, recognize what needs to be done next, and follow through on tasks even when no one is asking.
  • You work reliably: What you promise, you deliver – in the agreed quality and time. And if something doesn't work out, you say so early rather than late.
  • You work meticulously and flag uncertainties instead of glossing over them. You can handle unfinished tasks without losing sight of the big picture.
  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint: You can quickly turn raw data into understandable insights.
  • You can quickly get up to speed with new topics, tools, and systems and understand contexts without lengthy explanations.
  • You have a strong affinity for AI Agents and Tools, actively use them to explore topics yourself, and understand their limitations.
  • You speak fluent German and good English (C1).
  • You are willing to work regularly from our Munich office – this role is deliberately not a remote position.

Your Benefits

  • Real responsibility instead of micromanagement. You will shape things, make decisions, and see the impact of your work directly in the market.
  • Direct access to founders and leadership. Flat hierarchies are the norm for us. Short paths, quick decisions.
  • AI-First Workflow. Copilot, Claude, Cursor, and similar tools are standard equipment for us. We expect and support their use.
  • Hybrid working with an office in the heart of Munich, near Theresienwiese. Flexible model with regular office presence, because we believe that the best ideas also arise through personal interaction.
  • Wellpass or BahnCard, Corporate Benefits, team events, annual offsites.
  • Fair, competitive compensation.
