We are looking for interns with a developer mindset who are eager to implement KI-based software solutions – from prototype to productive use. The Lipsia Digital GmbH is a software and KI company with around 30 employees (average age 28). We develop individual solutions, e.g., for KI applications, banking, energy industry & HEMS – practically, cleanly implemented, and close to the customer.

Tasks

Develop AI instead of just researching

• Implementation of KI features (e.g., LLM connections, automations, classifications, evaluations)
• Prototyping and further development of existing KI modules

Built software 🛠️

• Participation in web & backend systems (APIs, services, data pipelines)
• Integration of KI services into real applications
• Participation in all project phases: from conception and feasibility analysis to go-live.

Data Science

• Data preparation, structuring, and binding to KI models
• Support for prompting, model evaluation & performance improvement

Qualification

👉 What you should bring with you

Technical interest & first coding experience, e.g., with

• JavaScript / TypeScript (frontend or backend)
• Python (e.g., for KI, APIs, data processing)

Studies in:

• Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Data Science
• or comparable – what matters is your tech drive

First contacts with:

• KI / LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, OpenAI API, Hugging Face o. ä.)
• APIs, Git, web technologies, databases (nice to have, not a must)

Also:

• Lust to learn, try things out and make code productive
• Good German or English skills
