• Agentic AI & Automation: You will put AI into real use at smartvillage: not as a playground, but in productive processes. You will support the building of LLM-based agents and automations, conceptualize prompt and context design, connect APIs, and ensure clean, reliable outputs including meaningful human-in-the-loop logic.
  
  
• Automating Processes: A clear focus initially will be in the finance sector. You will tackle specific workflows: invoices, reconciliations, reporting workflows, and KPI dashboards will become smarter with AI and automation. Along the way, you'll learn how modern controlling and accounting work in a growing company.
  
  
• Automation Across the Company: Finance is the starting point, not the end. You will independently tackle processes from various departments, identify automation potential, and implement them. You will use tools like n8n, Make, or Python scripts, and connect automations to our CRM (HubSpot) and other internal systems.
  
  
• Integration & System Landscape: You will connect your automations to our existing infrastructure: HubSpot, PostgreSQL, and internal applications. You will ensure clean data flows between departments and think in terms of systems, not silos.
  
  
• Quality & Further Development: You will help make our AI applications testable and reliable: through evaluations, monitoring, and transparent escalation mechanisms. You will contribute your own ideas and actively shape how AI grows further at smartvillage.

• Ongoing studies with a tech focus: You are studying computer science, business informatics, data science, business administration with a technology focus, engineering, or a comparable bachelor's or master's degree. Finance knowledge from your studies or internships is a clear plus.
  
  
• Initial LLM practice & coding foundation: You have already worked with LLM APIs and are familiar with concepts like function calling, structured outputs, or RAG. Clean Python code, basic SQL knowledge, and experience with APIs and Git are a matter of course for you.
  
  
• Tool affinity & automation know-how: You know how to connect systems meaningfully. Experience with workflow tools like n8n or Make, with HubSpot or other CRM tools, as well as Excel skills with macros or Power Query are a plus, not a must.
  
  
• Process understanding & pragmatism: You want to understand how processes actually work before you automate them. You critically question workflows, think in terms of connections, and know when a simple workflow is sufficient and when more is needed. You work independently and proactively drive things forward.
  
  
• Communication skills & team spirit: You can explain technical topics understandably to non-technical colleagues and enjoy working across teams. You communicate confidently in German (min. C1) and English.
