At 1KOMMA5°, we are building Europe's leading energy software platform “Heartbeat”, thus creating a virtual power plant that connects customers' photovoltaic systems, electricity storage, heat pumps, and charging stations, significantly increasing the profitability of networked customer systems. We also offer customers a "One-Stop-Shop" for purchasing and installing individual and intelligent energy system solutions, so that every household can live, heat, and be mobile climate-neutral quickly and professionally. At the same time, in our technology division, we are working on the further development and expansion of the Heartbeat software to connect customers to the electricity market worldwide and thus always offer the cheapest and cleanest electricity tariff.

Your Position

As the Team Energy, we are part of 1KOMMA5°'s Product and Tech Team. We work daily to ensure that our digital products are available to thousands of customers worldwide. We are growing strongly and are therefore looking for additional support! What counts is that you are motivated to tackle the tasks listed below, to step on the gas (or rather, electricity) and are looking for a steep learning curve.

• You will independently take on AI and automation projects – from RAG-supported data processing to automated customer communication
• You will use automation platforms for rapid prototyping of AI applications
• You will work directly with our Process and Operations team to understand the challenges of daily business
• Based on this, you will develop suitable solutions and evaluate their impact using clearly measurable KPIs
• You will document your workflows in our knowledge base and help make our team context usable for AI agents
• You will independently evaluate new AI tools and automation platforms and make suggestions on how we can further improve and automate processes

Your Profile

• You are studying Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field – or are tech-savvy with proven experience
• You have practical experience with automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Make, Zapier)
• You have a strong hands-on mentality and proactively drive initiatives
• You are enrolled at a German university for at least two more semesters and can support us with 15-20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks
• For this position, it is essential that you feel comfortable communicating fluently in German (minimum C1 level)
• You are looking for a steep learning curve and are open to feedback – everyone can learn, and that's exactly what we want to create space for
• You already have initial experience in the energy industry? Great! You are still a rookie in the industry? No problem – motivation and a willingness to learn are what count for us!
