IT Support Position - Technical Customer Service / IT Support

The Projektron GmbH develops and markets the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. To support our over 820 customers across Europe and continuously develop our software, more than 130 employees work at five locations in Germany.

We are currently looking for students to join our IT Support team with 16-20 hours per week at our main location in Berlin.

Tasks

The Technical Customer Service team handles around 13,000 technical inquiries and adjustments annually through the integrated ticket system in Projektron BCS.

In your student position, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience with one of the best employers in Berlin-Brandenburg. You can support the Technical Customer Service in the following areas:

• Reviewing and classifying tickets, checking feasibility and estimating the effort required for customer inquiries
• Serving as an interface between customers, our consultants, and development teams
• Communicating with key users of our customers and taking over 2nd-level support
• Writing XML files and implementing specific requirements using the Web Config Editor
• Performing remote installations for customers and maintaining instances of our automated hosting

The minimum three-month onboarding process will take place at our main location in Berlin during the semester breaks.

Qualification

• Enrollment in one of the following fields: (Business-) Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Natural Sciences or similar
• Excellent grades in your studies
• Friendly demeanor and independent, result-oriented work style within a team
• Interest in software implementation projects and project management
• Experience with application software is an advantage
• Good English skills are an advantage
