Working Student (m/f/d) Business Analysis

Do you want to not only execute existing processes, but also understand why they work the way they do and how they can be improved? Are you interested in how companies develop their processes, organization, and IT?

Your tasks as a Working Student (m/f/d) address key areas of later business analyst roles: overarching IT understanding, process analysis, requirements documentation, transformation support, and the connection of business and technological questions.

Nobody expects you to be an insurance expert. We want to recognize (and work with you on!) your ability to quickly understand complex relationships, work precisely, and enjoy making things simply better than you found them.

What you will work on with us

Depending on your level of knowledge and the specific project, you can, for example:

• Research, structure, and prepare information on business processes and business-related questions,
• examine existing workflows and support the identification of improvement opportunities,
• document requirements, work results, and decision-making bases in a comprehensible manner,
• prepare process diagrams, presentations, and analyses for our consulting teams,
• familiarize yourself with topics in the insurance industry, particularly in claims, benefits, policy, or customer management processes,
• investigate technological developments for potential fields of application in insurance companies,
• support the preparation and follow-up of project meetings and workshops.

What you bring with you

• You are studying Business Informatics, Information Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable degree program.
• Your ideal start time is two to three semesters before your graduation.
• You can tackle complex issues in a structured manner and explain your reasoning comprehensibly.
• You work carefully and recognize when information is missing, unclear, or contradictory.
• You communicate clearly, listen attentively, and ask questions when you haven't fully understood something.
