Your role

As a Werkstudent (w/m/d) in the Finance / Accounting & Controlling department, you will support our Finance team in their daily operations and analytical tasks.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues and receive comprehensive insights into accounting, monthly closures, and corporate governance of a rapidly growing FinTech – with the possibility of bringing in your own ideas and actively shaping processes.

The role is located at the Stuttgart location and is particularly suitable for master's students in the field of economics, finance, or controlling who want to gain practical experience in a dynamic FinTech.

Aufgaben

Your tasks
Accounting
Support in ongoing financial accounting (creditors, debtors, asset accounts, banks)

• Participation in preparing and conducting monthly closures according to HGB

• Creation of reports, evaluations, and key figures for management

• Support in analyzing and optimizing accounting processes

• Participation in digitalization and automation topics in the Finance departmentControlling

• Creation and preparation of monthly reports and KPIs

• Support in budget planning and forecasting

• Implementation of ad-hoc analyses and evaluations

• Support in developing controlling tools and structuresFinance Operations / Administrative Support

• Processing and organization of incoming and outgoing mail

• Digitalization, assignment, and structured filing of documents

• Support in administrative and organizational topics in the Finance field

• Participation in developing efficient workflows in office and document management

What you bring

Must-haves

• Ongoing studies in the field of economics, business administration, finance, or comparable (ideally in the master's)
• First knowledge of accounting and/or controlling
• Analytical and structured working style
• Safe handling of Excel and MS Office
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills
• Flexible scheduling of working hours

Nice-to-haves

• First practical experience in the finance, accounting, or controlling field
• Interest in FinTechs and financial processes
• Affinity to data, tools, and automation
