Junior Web Development Trainee (m/w/d)

We are a growth-oriented, technology-driven company with our headquarters in the heart of Münster. As an independent service provider, we enable our customers to register digital toll products easily and uncomplicatedly in European countries. Since our founding in 2019, our team has grown to 16 employees – agile, pragmatic, and with a clear focus on modern software development.

We are looking for trainees or students who want to learn web development practically – under the use of modern KI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and automated KI code reviews.

We believe: Good developers don't emerge through perfection, but through curiosity, practice, and the right tools.

Tasks

• Participation in real web projects based on Laravel (PHP)
• Implementation of smaller features and bug fixes in existing applications
• Gradual introduction to modern web technologies (Backend & Frontend)
• Use of Cursor as a development environment for KI-assisted code creation and improvement
• Collaboration with GitHub, including pull requests and automated KI reviews through Copilot & CursorBot
• Closely working with experienced developers who will guide you professionally

Qualification

• You are an enrolled student: or want to start as a trainee in web development
• First experiences with programming (e.g. PHP, JavaScript, Python or similar languages)
• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs – no expert knowledge required)
• Interest in actively using KI when programming, instead of writing everything manually
• Learner's willingness, self-initiative, and fun trying out things
• A GitHub profile or small projects are a plus – but not a must

You don't have to be perfect. We expect motivation and curiosity.
