Working Student Web Development & Design (m/f/d)

At bitaggregat, we develop secure hardware for the network sector and support customers in building information security in a structured way. Together with partners from industry and science, we research new technologies and transform them into market-ready products – these include our secure network card as well as the digital tools and applications that support our work and that of our customers.

To further develop our website, we are looking for a working student who will contribute to everything from technical implementation and design to maintenance, testing, and SEO.

Tasks

• Further development and maintenance of our website
• Implementation of design and content adjustments
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve the findability of our content
• Support for a possible technical relaunch or new development
• Maintenance, updates, and testing
• Support for smaller web and design projects

Qualifications

• You are studying Computer Science, Media Informatics, Web Development, Design, or a comparable field of study
• Experience in developing and maintaining websites, ideally with WordPress
• A good feel for design, typography, responsive design, and user experience
• Interest in technical topics and web infrastructure
• A meticulous and independent way of working
• Curiosity and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies
• Very good German language skills (at least C1)

Nice to have

• Strong awareness of IT security and responsible handling of sensitive data and systems
• Knowledge of Git, Hosting, or Deployment
• Experience with UI/UX Design
• Interest in web security, performance, or accessibility
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Markdown, Sphinx, or reStructuredText
