What We Solve

The energy transition is more relevant than ever: Solar systems, heat pumps, and wallboxes are being installed in Germany faster than ever before. But there is a bottleneck that hardly anyone knows about - Bureaucracy.

What does that mean specifically? Every single system must be registered with the grid operator before it can be activated.
Sounds simple? It isn't: In Germany, there are over 850 grid operators - each with its own forms, its own processes, its own interpretation of the rules. No standard.
For installation companies, this means three to four hours per system, during which a tradesperson fills out forms instead of building.

We solve this with software. Our platform generates the documents from the installer's data and submits them automatically to the correct grid operator.
Among our customers are the largest players in the solar and heat pump industry in Europe.
And because this problem causes so much pain for installation companies, we grew from zero to over €1 million in revenue last year - bootstrapped, profitable, and without investor money.

Your Role

You will work in the operational core of our product and have ownership for an entire area.
There, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly: You will handle the edge cases, communicate with all relevant stakeholders, and manage the process so that it not only improves every week but also allows us to serve more customers every week. Because that's exactly where we stand: More customers want our product than we can currently put into operation.

• Process Management: Your area runs because you manage it - from registration to confirmation by the grid operator, including technical coordination if something doesn't fit.

• Expansion: You will help drive the rollout into new grid operator areas - explore new rules, map them in the system, bring them live. And thus, new customers.

• Product: If something gets stuck or you have an idea, you will directly build the solution with our engineering team. You will actively shape the product - and thus scale our operations business.

What You Bring

• You are studying engineering: Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar

• You quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar topics

• You enjoy driving your own areas forward rather than waiting for instructions

• A keen eye for detail - you find errors that others don't notice

• You are in Berlin and can be in the office for 20 h/week

You don't have to have heard of grid registrations before. You'll learn that here in two weeks.
