Our teams work remotely and cross-location, which enables flexibility, collaboration, and creativity at the highest level. The leadership of the Operations and Financial Management department is located in Saarbrücken and is responsible for the entire group. 

To support our central department, we are looking for an engaged student with a focus on accounting and taxes who also shows interest in digital technologies and process optimization. In this role, you combine professional knowledge with digital change processes and international rapidly growing requirements.

The work takes place remotely from home office, with regular physical department and company meetings for internal exchange.

Your Tasks

The focus of the task lies in supporting the Tax & Finance team in ensuring compliance and liquidity as well as optimizing financial processes. The specific tasks include:

• Supporting cash flow and liquidity management.
• Supporting the processing of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) cycles.
• Preliminary preparation of documents for audits and annual statements.
• Participation in projects to automate financial processes. 
• Participation in processing simple tax cases as well as exciting projects in the international tax department.
• Supporting expense account settlements.
• Supporting communication with and arrangement of suppliers and customers.

Your Profile

• Masters student (m/w/d) in business administration, computer science or comparable fields, ideally with a focus on finance, taxes, or accounting.
• First practical experiences in the field of accounting, finance, or taxes are advantageous.
• Independent, goal-oriented, and conceptual work.
• Outstanding analytical thinking, team spirit, and communication skills.
• Affinity to digital technologies and process optimization.
• Very good German and English language skills round off your profile.
