As Software Development Student (m/w/d), you'll support the development and operation of our scalable Energy-as-a-Service platform for innovative energy applications – from architecture to backend and embedded development, up to secure and performant delivery in production.

Tasks

• You'll support our development team in further developing our Energy-as-a-Service platform in the backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• You'll work on individual features and components of our SaaS product – from implementation to testing.
• You'll help develop scalable and robust software solutions for production use.
• You'll support our team in the software development process – e.g., implementation, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• You'll work closely with our CTO and the development team, gaining insights into architecture and operation of a scaling platform.
• You'll help ensure code quality, clean interfaces, and stable deployments.

Qualification

What you should bring

• You're studying computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical degree.
• You have first-hand practical experience in software development (e.g., through own projects, internships, or student work).
• You have basic knowledge of modern software technologies (e.g., backend, APIs, cloud, or databases).
• You're interested in developing scalable software and digital infrastructure for the energy transition.
• Nice to have: First contacts with IoT, energy management, or smart meter infrastructure.
• You communicate securely in English and speak German (at least B2 level).
