Student Assistant Software Development for Complex Systems (m/w/d)

We are looking for a student assistant to implement mathematically challenging algorithms in various application projects for automated data analysis and processing.

We are an innovative software engineering company, founded as a spin-off of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2011. Since then, we have developed customized software solutions in close cooperation with our customers from various industries - from fault-tolerant embedded systems to applications in the defense and aerospace sector.

Tasks

• Participation in the analysis and development of AI methods regarding their suitability for specific applications
• Participation in the implementation and testing of various AI methods on existing data sets
• Adaptation and expansion of existing software to incorporate new features
• Participation in binding KI models to the overall system software

Qualification

• Ongoing master's degree in technical cybernetics, automation technology, control engineering, electrical engineering, computer science (Uni/FH) or comparable program with a focus on AI
• Practical experience in programming with Java, Python, and/or C++
• Fundamental theoretical knowledge of algorithms for sensor fusion (e.g. Kalman filter, UKF) or machine learning methods (e.g. neural networks)
• Structured and solution-oriented working style, advanced analytical skills, and teamwork ability
• Reliability and high-quality awareness
• Fluent German and English language skills
