As a Working Student Social Media (all genders), you will support our marketing team in bringing Maniko to life on our organic social media channels.

Your role with us:

As our new Working Student Social Media (all genders), you'll be right in the middle of making Maniko visible, relevant, and approachable on Instagram and TikTok. With your feel for trends, formats, and sounds, as well as your desire to create content yourself, you'll support our marketing team in daily operations and bring fresh ideas that keep our brand at the cutting edge.

Your tasks include:

• You will support the planning, creation, and publication of content on our organic social media channels.

• You will create content for Instagram and TikTok, including short-form videos, stories, and posts.

• You will support community management and interact with our followers in our brand's tone.

• You will identify relevant trends, formats, sounds, and cultural moments.

• You will assist with content shoots, product launches, and campaign activations.

• You will coordinate content assets, captions, and the publishing schedule.

• You will contribute fresh ideas that make our brand appear relevant, entertaining, and culturally connected.

What you bring with you:

• Studies: You are enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the employment.

• Platform Know-how: You have a strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, as well as their respective content formats.

• Practical Experience: You have initial practical experience in creating short-form social content.

• Video Editing: You possess basic video editing skills, e.g., in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or a comparable tool.

• Copywriting: You can confidently write short, entertaining, and brand-appropriate social copy.

• Curiosity: You have a deep interest in social media, trends, and digital culture.

• Mindset: You are creative, proactive, and enjoy contributing your own ideas.

• Instinct: You have a strong sense for what appears authentic and relevant on social media.

• Organization: You work reliably, organized, and independently.

• On-Camera Presence: You are comfortable being in front of the camera yourself.

• Communication: You communicate strongly and think community-first.

• Pace: You work quickly, pragmatically, and enjoy trying out new formats.
  

Ideally, you also bring:

• Initial experience in social media, content creation, community management, or influencer marketing.

• Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools.

• Experience in filming content with a smartphone and setting up simple lighting.

• Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.

• Prior knowledge in the areas of beauty, fashion, or lifestyle.

• Personal experience in building or managing your own social media account.

• Genuine enthusiasm for beauty and nail trends.

• A good sense for engaging hooks and storytelling.

• Confidence in interacting with creators and the community.

• Humor and a natural, approachable communication style.

• Comfort in a dynamic environment where priorities can change quickly.
