Werkstudent Smart Building & Technical Operations (m/w/d)

We operate around 500 serviced apartments and boardinghouse units across Germany. Our guests primarily book, check in, and communicate digitally.
To ensure our locations function smoothly, we rely on modern technologies like smart locks, camera, and access systems, digital guest communication, and a high-performance network and internet infrastructure.
To support our growth, we are looking for a technically skilled work student (m/w/d) who will maintain, develop, and bring in their own ideas to our technical infrastructure.

Aufgaben

• Erection, maintenance, and replacement of smart locks and access systems
• Maintenance of camera and security systems
• Erection, monitoring, and optimization of WLAN and network infrastructures
• Analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues
• Support for the technical commissioning of new locations
• Dokumentation of technical standards and processes
• Development and implementation of improvement proposals
• Support for digitalization and automation projects

Qualifikation

You bring this with you
Ongoing studies, ideally in the field:

• Electrical engineering

• Technical informatics

• Informatik

• Economic engineering

• Mechatronics

• or a comparable field of study

• Outstanding technical understanding

• Self-motivated and structured work style

• High level of initiative and problem-solving skills

• Hands-on mentality

• Class B driver's license

This would be a plus

• Experience with networks, routers, and WLAN systems
• Knowledge in the field of smart home, IoT or building automation
• Experience with camera systems or electronic locking systems
• Technical hobbies or own projects (e.g. home networks, smart home, Raspberry Pi or automation)
