Job description

You work your way into the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) and take over the maintenance of our simulation models.
You restructure existing code anew and develop modular components that can be used across projects.
By mid-2026, you integrate test results from our prototype tests (PT) into the simulation and support validation.
You answer technical questions about the simulation for our sales department.
You keep documentation and instructions up to date in our internal knowledge portal (Wiki).
You test alternatives to the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) as needed and bring in new ideas.

You are studying mechanical engineering, energy and process engineering, or general engineering (MB/EPT/ING).
You have a very good understanding of thermodynamics (TD).
Ideal candidates bring practical experience with thermal processes (TKP) and simulations using equation-based solvers (GBS).
You are interested in plant construction, power plant construction (KW-Bau), heat utilization (AWN), and renewable energies (EE).
You enjoy varied and challenging tasks.
You work structured, are team-oriented, and communicate clearly.
You have good German and English language skills (DE/EN).
