What We're Planning Together:

In our Business Insights - Retail Intelligence team, we generate valuable business insights for REWE Group together and are the point of contact for our colleagues from various departments. You will work in a team with nice colleagues and specifically support in the areas of Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management. You will be concerned with questions such as: What new competitive activities are taking place in the areas of fresh produce, organic, regionality, or loyalty? How is the competitive landscape developing in the e-commerce market (national and international)? You will have the opportunity to take on your own (partial) projects independently and thereby create the basis for making optimized and fact-based decisions. What does that mean for you? You have a passion for the diverse questions and developments in the food retail sector. You quickly find intelligent and pragmatic ways to approach business questions and derive relevant patterns, trends, and developments from qualitative and quantitative data. – Do you want to help REWE Group gain a competitive advantage by generating relevant insights from integrated analyses? – We cordially invite you to do so!

• You pitch in and take responsibility: You are committed, accompany and support us with a focus on Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management.
• With your ideas, you support project management as well as the creation of analyses, presentations, results reports, and management summaries. You work independently and take responsibility for the tasks you undertake.
• You are the point of contact for our stakeholders: You work closely with our stakeholders at the interfaces and convince them with your work and your communicative manner.
• Your ideas for the future: Do you have innovative ideas to advance Retail Intelligence within REWE Group? We look forward to implementing them with you!
• You are part of a young and dynamic working student team consisting of six working students: you exchange ideas with the other working students, support each other, coordinate your tasks and projects together, and organize regular after-work events.

What Convinces Us:

• First and foremost, your personality: You have a knack for creative problem-solving and possess strong analytical skills and logical thinking. Furthermore, you are characterized by your structured, independent way of working and can inspire others.
• You are a student in an economics, social sciences, or IT-oriented degree program and can be available to us for at least another year.
• You have statistical knowledge; experience with R is desirable.
• You have a strong interest in varied tasks and challenges, are a team player, and enjoy taking responsibility for your own area of focus.
• You don't lose sight of the goal even under time pressure and achieve very good qualitative and quantitative results.
• You are proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• You have time to support us regularly with 16-20 hours per week.
• Your very good German and English language skills round off your profile.
