Working Student Product Development (m/f/d)

We are GORNATION - a sports brand from Münster, founded in 2015 with the mission to strengthen the Calisthenics sport and advance the fitness of people worldwide. Today, hundreds of thousands of athletes* of all levels use our products in over 100 countries. We develop closely with professionals, think functionally, and act with high demands on ourselves.

For our product development team, we are looking for a working student to support us in the development and further development of our sports products - from CAD sketches to building prototypes to coordination with our manufacturers. Additionally, you will have the chance to accompany your own small projects from the idea to the order with the manufacturer.

You will work in a motivated team, get room for personal responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact. No corporate jargon. No "We've always done it this way." But clear pragmatism, honest feedback, and a lot of energy.

Work Model: 15-20 hours/week on at least 3 days a week, on-site in Münster.

Responsibilities

• Development & Optimization: You will be involved in the development and further development of our sports products.
• Instructions: You will create and revise assembly and installation instructions.
• CAD & Technical Drawings: You will create CAD sketches and technical drawings for our instructions.
• Prototype Construction: You will practically build and test products and prototypes.
• Product Testing: You will participate in product tests and identify areas for improvement.
• Technical You will prepare technical information and product data.
• Coordination: You will communicate with our product development team and our international manufacturers.
• Own Projects: You will take on your own smaller product development projects - from the initial idea to the order with the manufacturer, for example with smaller sporting goods.

Qualifications

• Studies: You are studying Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable degree program with a focus on product development.
• Technical Understanding: You already have practical experience with CAD, can understand technical drawings, and have an eye for detail.
• Hands-on Mentality: You are eager to try things out, build, and improve them yourself - even away from the screen.
• Quick Comprehension: You quickly familiarize yourself with new products and technical issues.
• Work Method: You work in a structured, meticulous, and independent manner.
• Communication & Teamwork: You work closely with our product development team - clearly and solution-oriented.
• Languages: Very good German and English skills.
• Calisthenics Connection: A connection to the Calisthenics scene is an advantage.
