Job description
YOUR TEAM
ottonova is Germany's first digital private health insurance company. We are dedicated to providing our customers with excellent insurance products and a modern, simple, and fully digital experience.
Do you want to help drive the revolution in the insurance industry and work at the intersection of insurance, technology, and the customer? Then we are looking for you as a Working Student (m/f/d) in Product / Health Management. Become part of our Product Team in Munich and support us with 16-20 hours per week!
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
How can we support people in taking better care of their health? And how can we make information about their health and insurance more understandable? This is what we focus on in Health Management. We research what customers need and, based on this, we further develop our digital offerings and features in the ottonova app.
You will support us in this: You will help investigate customer needs, evaluate results, and derive ideas for our products.
- You will support us with customer surveys, interviews, and usability tests - from preparation and execution to evaluation.
- You will analyze survey results, customer feedback, and customer inquiries. Together with the team, you will derive from this where customers need support and how we can improve our offerings, explanations, and features.
- You will prepare data and insights clearly, for example in tables, evaluations, and presentations for the team.
- You will contribute to the development of digital health offerings and app features: research, further develop ideas, create simple prototypes if necessary, and help test them with customers.
- You will research and analyze potential cooperation partners for the integration and expansion of our functions and services.
- You will help us identify current trends in the health and insurance industry and assist in preparing new initiatives by organizing workshops.
YOUR PROFILE
- You are pursuing a degree in Sports Science / Health Economics / Business Administration / Psychology / Business Informatics or a related field and still have at least 1 year of study time remaining.
- You work analytically and in a structured manner, handle data carefully, and have a fundamental technical understanding.
- You are interested in health, digital products, and the question of what customers truly need.
- You can easily empathize with the customer's perspective and present insights understandably.
- You enjoy working with agile teams and feel comfortable in an international environment.
- You are proficient in common office tools. Experience with survey tools, Figma, or qualitative and quantitative research is welcome but not a prerequisite.
- You communicate confidently in German (B2) and can also communicate in English (B1) in everyday work.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO
At ottonova, you have the opportunity to help shape one of the most exciting new companies on the market. Here you will find an experienced, highly motivated, and diverse team, as well as freedom to contribute and drive your own ideas forward.
As a health insurance provider, we are committed to health – including that of our employees. Since fruit, coffee, and muesli are part of our amenities, we offer you a variety of other benefits:
- Sports and fitness subsidy
- Corporate Benefits
- Ticket Plus City Card
- Flexible working hours and mobile working
- Employee referral program
ottonova promotes a mutually responsible, respectful, and humorous interaction with a clear value system. Our diversity is a strength, as it makes the ottonova team more creative and productive. We value each individual and support personal and professional development with full commitment.
