Working Student NPL & Partner Management (m/f/d)
Job description
Do you want to understand how the sale of receivables, partner management, and clean process controls work together in practice? In the NPL & Partner Management department, we are responsible for the operational processes related to the sale of receivables and collaboration with our partners. We ensure that our NPL and partner processes run reliably, are data-based, and are documented in an audit-proof manner. As a working student (m/f/d), you will support us in daily business and work closely with internal interfaces as well as external partners.
What awaits you:
- Monitoring & Internal Control System (IKS): You will support the monitoring of ongoing NPL and partner processes as well as monthly IKS controls and document evidence comprehensibly in our internal systems.
- Payment Posting & Reporting: You will enter payments into our internal debt collection software, perform checks and reconciliations, and create payment reports.
- Data Checks & Reconciliations: You will execute predefined SQL checks, adjust them minimally if necessary, and create master datasets including CSV exports, as well as duplicate, intersection, and plausibility checks.
- Sale of Receivables & Reversal: You will support the preparation and operational processing of the sale of receivables to Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs), handle defined special cases, accompany process and file transfers, and document transactions cleanly in the ticket system.
- Partner Coordination & Follow-up: You will coordinate with our partner bank SWK, the DCAs, and internally with IT, clarify queries, and consistently follow up on open points.
- DCA Statistics & Presentation: You will prepare DCA statistics and support their presentation.
- Maximum Flexibility: You will work hybrid with a fixed presence day per week in Düsseldorf and otherwise from home office within Germany.
What you bring with you:
- Studies: You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.
- First Practical Experience: You have gained initial experience in handling data, reports, or operational processes, for example, through internships, a working student position, or an apprenticeship, and ideally you have initial SQL knowledge.
- Structure & Diligence: You work reliably, diligently, and in a structured manner, and you take on tasks independently.
- Affinity for You enjoy working with numbers, tables, and lists and have a good understanding of reconciliations and plausibility checks.
- Tool Proficiency: You have very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel, and you quickly get used to new systems.
- Communication: You present topics clearly and concisely and enjoy communicating with various contact persons.
- Languages: You have very good German language skills and good English language skills, both spoken and written.
