JOIN US
The Sustainability Team at Code Gaia is responsible for ensuring that our work meets the needs of our partners and users. The team consists of experienced and rising sustainability experts who all share the desire to improve the way we do business, which means we will always strive to be better for the planet and its inhabitants.
Our team is involved in the continuous development of our software, delivers results for our customers, monitors and maintains high methodological standards, offers strategic support and consulting, specific thematic services like THG continuations and support for the EU taxonomy, sustainability reports, and more. We have a broad range of tasks that requires flexibility, engagement, and competence. Working with us means working on a wide range of topics while simultaneously gaining in-depth knowledge about methods and approaches to corporate sustainability.
WHAT YOU DO
- You are responsible for actively handling sustainability information and data for users of our sustainability software.
- You will work closely with members of the Sustainability Team to ensure that large amounts of user data are processed with precision, thoroughness, and timeliness, while also ensuring data quality and data protection.
- You will perform repetitive tasks with great attention to detail, but you will also make your own decisions about how data can be processed more efficiently and suggest solutions to improve processes.
- You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for automating data processing and transmitting these opportunities to software engineers.
WHO YOU ARE
- You are studying business administration with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting, or economics, ideally with a focus on sustainability.
- You are strong in communication and master German (C2 level) and English (B2 or better), both orally and written, very well.
- A third European language (especially Spanish, Polish, or Croatian) would be an asset.
- You bring a high degree of attention to detail and self-initiative with you.
- You can conduct independent research to find solutions based on credible and scientifically founded sources.
- You have a professional, positive, and friendly communication style that allows you to communicate with internal members of the Sustainability Team and software engineers.
- You analyze datasets independently and quickly recognize patterns or inconsistencies.
