Working Student (m/f/d) - Web Development

We are a young startup in the care market aiming to revolutionize the organization of home care. As a bootstrapped company, we have already developed a successful digital solution with PflegeHelfer24 to bring the home care market online.

We are currently building our second product, Aldor – a B2B SaaS CRM and operating system for daily living assistance and care service providers in Germany. To further develop and scale our products, we are looking for dedicated and talented working students in the field of Web Development (Full Stack Ruby on Rails) to strengthen our development team.

We consistently rely on modern, AI-supported software development: Tools like Claude Code are an integral part of our daily workflow. With us, you will not only learn classic full-stack development but also how to develop productively, quickly, and with high quality using AI coding agents – a skill that will be crucial in the coming years.

Tasks

• Development and maintenance of our Ruby on Rails web applications (PflegeHelfer24 and Aldor)
• Implementation of frontend functionalities with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Development and optimization of backend functions and APIs
• Participation in the conception and implementation of new features
• Support in troubleshooting and optimizing application performance
• Collaboration in the integration of third-party services and APIs

Qualifications

• Enrolled student (m/f/d) in at least the 3rd semester of a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Software Development, Business Informatics, or comparable)
• Basic knowledge in web development, especially with Ruby on Rails (prior knowledge is a plus, but not strictly required)
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Interest in working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and RESTful APIs
• Basic understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Openness and enthusiasm for AI-supported development – experience with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot is a plus, but not a must; the willingness to engage with it is important
• Willingness to learn and interest in new technologies
• Analytical thinking skills and problem-solving competence
• Teamwork skills and good communication skills
• Very good German and English language skills
