Tasks

• Support in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Executing manual or automated tests (e.g. with Maestro) on software products, websites, or applications:
• Maestro for frontend test automation
• API tests using Python (or framework, e.g. Postman)
• Conducting and automating API tests using Python, including:
• Inquiry and validation of interfaces
• Checking status codes
• Preliminary preparation and manipulation of test data
• Using ReadMe for analysis and verification of API specifications.
• Capturing, documenting, and tracking errors through reproducible test protocols and close coordination with development.
• Active participation in the continuous improvement of test quality by bringing in own ideas and optimization suggestions.
• In a first step, you will primarily ensure that our products function as they should.

Qualification

• You are an enrolled student in the field of computer science, business informatics, or similar.
• You have a desire to bring yourself into the framework of a work-study activity (max. 20 weekly hours) with us.
• Ideal candidate is experienced in testing – you should have first-hand experience in structuring facts and/or products.
• You are familiar with agile development methods according to Scrum – having experience with project management software like Jira and Confluence would be advantageous.
• You appreciate constructive teamwork; work efficiently and structured alone as well.
• You should be absolutely reliable in your work - the quality of our applications is very important to us.
• You should have a comprehensive view – you have both a love for detail and an eye for the bigger picture.
• Basic knowledge of programming (e.g. React, Java) would be advantageous.
• Ideal candidate has experience with version control.
