Working Student (m/f/d) Sales & Strategic Consulting

Full Time Entry Level

Job description

Your Mission

A 400 billion dollar market. A profitable scale-up that's shaking it up. And you in the middle of it – not as a spectator, but as someone who helps build real deliverables.
We are looking for you as a Working Student (m/f/d) Sales & Strategic Consulting at our headquarters in Munich. You will work directly with our Sales and Marketing team – and with an ex-consultant who knows how to turn ambiguity into recommendations. Your task: dissect customer challenges, build convincing pitches from them, and deliver materials that actually reach customers and executives. No background support work – your slides go into the weekly review, your research feeds into real decisions.

What you will actually do

  • Diagnostics instead of gut feeling: You will analyze customer challenges and competitive landscapes – the basis for pitches and go-to-market decisions, not just a diligent task.
  • Executive-ready pitch materials: You will contribute to business cases, concepts, and decks that are presented in real customer meetings and internal reviews.
  • Visible handwriting in content: You will help create materials for sales and marketing campaigns – from website content to campaign assets.
  • Projects with your name on them: Depending on the current team needs, you will independently take on projects end-to-end – this could be a revised case study library, a competitive research deck for a new target group, a content strategy for a campaign topic, or the preparation of an RFP response. The standard remains the same: you get responsibility, not just support work.
  • Ad-hoc support: Whatever is currently a priority – with varying complexity, but always with visible impact.
Why this is exciting for you as an aspiring consultant
Structured thinking under ambiguity, storytelling with data, executive communication under time pressure – this is exactly the muscle that case interviews and later consulting projects require. The difference: Here you train it with real customers, not with textbook case studies. Our last intern in this position went on to join BCG – not a coincidence, but a consequence of the tasks.

Your Skillset

  • Academic background: You are currently a Bachelor's or Master's student in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field of study.
  • Relevant experience: Initial insights into strategic consulting, corporate strategy, or solution engineering are a plus, but not a must – more important is the ability to immerse yourself in complex issues and draw viable conclusions from them.
  • Skills: You have a good feel for strategically structured, convincing PowerPoint presentations and are proficient in complex Excel models, for example, for preparing business cases.
  • Mindset: You think entrepreneurially, take responsibility without being asked, and pursue a solution-oriented, consulting approach – you see ambiguity as an invitation rather than an obstacle.
  • Language skills: Fluent communication in German and English, coupled with the ability to convey even complex content clearly and concisely.
  • Framework conditions: You have 16 - 20 hours per week capacity during the semester to work with us on-site at our Munich headquarters. Flexible to full-time possible during semester breaks.

Your Winning Deal

  • Your chance: Take on responsibility from day one, participate in strategic initiatives, and work closely with an ex-consultant as well as smart, experienced experts from Sales and Marketing – and thus, together with an expert team, develop both the company and yourself further.
  • Benefits: In addition to weekly pizza and snacks on-site, we also offer you a job lunch subsidy (4 x €6.90 per month), a subsidized Wellpass membership, discounts via "Corporate Benefits", and great team and company events.
  • Workplace: Flexible, hybrid work model in one of our modern, dog-friendly offices.
  • Your contribution: A position in a profitable company where you have the freedom and trust to help shape things and work with us on the "Future of Work".
  • Our values: An open, authentic culture and a high-performing, humorous team that looks forward to making bold decisions and breaking new ground with you.
