Work Student (m/w/d) Real Estate Finance & Controlling

In the Operations Team, you will work directly with the management team and be close to active portfolio management — including Grundconsult Immobilien GmbH, one of Germany's most established property management companies with over 30 years of experience and a managed portfolio of 1.5 billion euros.

Aufgaben

In this role, your focus will be on financial and analytical processes for our portfolios, paired with a deep understanding of operational practice:

1. Financial Support & Controlling

• Zahlen & Reports: You will actively work on the creation of financial reports, Soll-Ist-Vergleichen, and business analyses for our real estate portfolios.
• Operational Finance: You will support the finance team in their daily operations (e.g. accounts payable, preparation of accounting, debt collection, and cash flow monitoring).
• Datenqualität: You will ensure that financial relevant master data in our systems are error-free – because your data is the basis for strategic decisions.

2. Close Cooperation with the Senior Leadership Team

• Management-Support: You will work directly with the management team and senior leadership, preparing presentations and decision-making materials.
• Sonderprojekte: You will support strategic projects to optimize our core processes (Core Processes).

3. Interface to Property Management (The Operational Basis)

• Prozessverständnis: So that the numbers add up, practice must run smoothly. You will support our property managers temporarily in their daily operations to understand operational workflows, structure them, and optimize them financially.

Qualifikation

• Your Foundation: You are enrolled as a student of economics, business administration (BWL), or computer science with a strong focus on numbers.
• Your Strengths: You have an excellent affinity for numbers, think extremely analytically and structured. You love to dig into data and recognize patterns.
• Your Tools: You are absolutely sure in your handling of MS Office applications and have a quick grasp of new software and ERP systems.
• Your Personality: You work precisely, are communicative in German, and have no aversion to direct collaboration with decision-makers.
