Machine Learning / Neural Networks / Automation Technician (m/w/d)

You will work on innovative projects at INP, where modern machine learning methods and neural networks are used to analyze and optimize technical processes. Together with experienced engineers, you will develop intelligent solutions for industrial applications and gain valuable practical experience in a future-oriented technology field.

Tasks

• Documented results and presentation in the project team
• Support in developing and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models
• Processing, analysis, and visualization of large data sets from industrial facilities
• Development and training of neural networks with Python (e.g. PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Conducting and evaluating experiments as well as comparing different models
• Participation in developing algorithms for fault detection, state monitoring, and predictive maintenance
• Support in integrating AI solutions into existing software and automation systems

Qualification

• Ongoing master's degree or advanced bachelor's degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Robotics, or a comparable field
• Basic knowledge of machine learning or deep learning
• Good programming skills in Python
• Ideal experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
• Fundamental knowledge of statistics and linear algebra
• Interest in industrial applications of artificial intelligence
• Analytical and structured working style
• Good German and English skills
• Experience with Git and Linux, as well as MATLAB or Simulink, is advantageous
• Experience in processing sensor, measurement, or image data
• First projects in the field of AI or Data Science (study, internship, or private)
