Working Student (m/f/d) IT – Automation & AI

For an innovative environmental and engineering consultancy, we are looking for a dedicated Working Student (m/f/d) with curiosity, technical understanding, and enthusiasm for automation and new technologies to optimize digital processes.

• Development of smart automation solutions: Conception, programming, and further development of scripts and automated workflows (e.g., with Python, PowerShell, or Power Automate) to simplify recurring processes and reduce manual tasks
• Implementation of AI-powered solutions: Development and testing of innovative AI applications, e.g., by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into internal processes, document processing, or knowledge management
• Connection and integration of systems: Support in connecting Microsoft 365 services and internal applications via interfaces such as Microsoft Graph API and REST APIs
• Support in IT Service Management: Accompanying collaboration with external IT service providers, monitoring ticket processing, tracking open issues, and supporting compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Preparation and analysis of Creation of small dashboards and data pipelines for automated evaluation of IT key figures, e.g., on ticket volume, processing times, and service quality
• Creation of technical documentation: Documentation of developed solutions and processes in German and English for sustainable use and further development

• Current studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree program
• Very good German (at least C1 level) and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Sound programming skills are a must, especially in Python; ideally, initial experience with PowerShell and Git
• Ability for independent development, analysis, and adaptation of scripts, as well as structured troubleshooting
• Enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs), as well as initial practical experience through projects, API usage, or prompt engineering
• Interest in the Microsoft 365 environment (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform) and motivation to quickly learn new technologies
• Analytical and structured way of thinking, as well as a reliable and solution-oriented work approach with joy in independent work
• Nice to have: initial knowledge in Microsoft Graph API, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, RAG and vector databases, Power BI, or a fundamental understanding of ITSM/ITIL
