On behalf of clients, bilacon primarily conducts microbiological, chemical-physical, and residue analyses of food, drinking water, and tobacco products. Student Trainee (m/f/d) in Sample Registration

• Transfer of customer and product information into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Entry and registration of incoming food and feed samples, including labeling, weighing, tagging, sample preparation, and photo documentation
• Independent creation of test parameters as an essential basis for a smooth sample flow and timely processing
• Matching and processing of Excel spreadsheets as well as general administrative tasks
• Support in customer communication to clarify order details
• Versatile assignments in adjacent areas such as practical assistance in various laboratory areas, support in sample preparation

• Ongoing studies in a scientific field (e.g., food chemistry, biotechnology, food technology, or comparable degree programs) that provide you with valuable background knowledge for the various analyses and laboratory processes
• A pragmatic, hands-on mentality and comfort in handling a wide variety of sample materials (food and feed)
• Open communication and strong team spirit
• Interest in sample registration as the central starting point for the entire process from food analytics to the test report
• A careful, organized, and analytical way of working
• Proficient use of the MS Office package (especially Excel) and ideally initial exposure to databases
• Willingness to work on Saturdays
