Working Student (m/f/d) for 3D Data Preparation

aurivus is an innovative startup specializing in the development of a state-of-the-art AI for 3D data processing in web applications.
Inspired by the most successful software companies in the world, we have built a strong software & AI development team in Ulm.

To support our team, we are looking for dedicated working students (m/f/d) for 3D data preparation.

Tasks

3D Data Labeling in Blender:

• Identifying and marking (labeling) different elements in 3D models.
• Using a custom-developed Blender addon for assigning labels.
• Documenting labeled data and checking for completeness and correctness.
• Providing feedback on the addon's functionality and user-friendliness, and potentially contributing to workflow optimization.

Redrawing 2D Floor Plans:

• Transferring digital or paper floor plans into Blender as 2D layouts using simple shapes like lines or extruded polygons.
• Checking the redrawn plans for accuracy and consistency with the originals.
• Independently identifying and requesting clarification for missing information or ambiguities in the plans.

General Support:

• Collaborating with the development team and communicating about status, challenges, and potential improvements.
• Compiling and maintaining simple documentation on the labeling process and methods used.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student (m/f/d)
• IT affinity and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work approach
• Team spirit and strong communication skills
• Ideally, initial experience working with Blender
