Spiel und Lern is a specialized online retailer with over 20 years of experience in the field of educational toys and materials for children. Our product range primarily targets B2B customers from the education, training, and therapy sectors – including kindergartens, elementary schools, occupational therapy and speech therapy practices, as well as clinics and therapeutic institutions. With our online shop, we offer our customers a comprehensive product range and excellent service. To further develop our digital platform and internal processes, we are looking for support for our team.

Aufgaben

Your MissionAs Work Student (m/w/d) in the field of E-Commerce and Software Development, you will be an important part of our team and act at the exciting interface between Product Management, E-Commerce, and Software Development. Your mission is to actively shape our digital platform – from the first idea to process optimization to the finished solution. You analyze the needs of our B2B customers, collect valuable feedback and innovative ideas for new features in our online shop, prioritize these together with the management team, and accompany the implementation.

Your Tasks in Detail

• Kundenkommunikation & Feedback-Management: You engage proactively in dialogue with our B2B customers (kindergartens, schools, practices), to understand their needs, challenges, and ideas for new features in our online shop and document them.
• Anforderungsanalyse & Priorisierung: You structure the collected customer feedback, analyze the requirements, and work together with the management team to prioritize the topics to be implemented for optimizing the Customer Journey.
• Schnittstellenfunktion (Produktmanagement): You act as a link between customer needs, product management, and software development/IT, ensuring a smooth information flow.
• Begleitung der E-Commerce-Entwicklung: You support the conception and implementation of new features and microservices for our online shop and internal systems – from technical specification to development (e.g., with PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript or Python) to deployment.
• Feedbackschleifen & Iteration: After implementing new functions in the shop, you collect feedback from customers again, to continuously improve the developed solutions.
• Markt- & Wettbewerbsbeobachtung: You keep an eye on current trends in E-Commerce, B2B shops, and digital education, and lead impulses for our further development from this.

Qualifikation

Your Profile

You are studying Business Informatics, Computer Science, E-Commerce, or a comparable field. You bring IT affinity and basic knowledge of web development with you; knowledge of common web technologies like PHP, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS is an advantage. Interest in or first experiences with online shops, e-commerce processes, or interface management are desirable. You enjoy customer contact, listen actively, and can communicate technical topics clearly. Your working style is analytical, structured, and self-responsible. You bring yourself proactively with your own ideas and are a true team player. Very good German language skills and good English language skills round out your profile.
