Job description

The Allianz Digital Health GmbH (ADH) is a Munich-based subsidiary of the Allianz SE.

The task of ADH is to define and implement best practices in the areas of health data management, product design, pricing, risk assessment, and claims management, as well as promote the business performance of Allianz health insurance companies worldwide. In addition, ADH develops software tools and supports their implementation in Allianz health insurance companies to ensure technical excellence along the entire value chain of health insurance.

We are looking for an engaged student who is enrolled in a master's program to strengthen our finance team as soon as possible and take over operational tasks in the area of accounting and reporting. This position offers practical insights into financial processes and the opportunity to directly contribute to the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This role is an ideal opportunity for students interested in a career in accounting who want to learn more about the insurance industry. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge and expand your experiences in dealing with various topics in collaboration with different team members and multitasking.

Tasks

  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Preparation of data for outgoing invoices, creation of sales orders, tracking of incoming payments, and support for accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Monitoring incoming bills, checking bill details, tracking the status of bills to ensure timely payments.
  • Support in quarterly and annual closing works.
  • Analysis of HGB and IFRS financial reports for accuracy and relevance.
  • Creation of monthly financial reports, comparing actual values with forecasts and budgets.
  • SUPPORT IN YEARLY PLANNING, BUDGETING AND STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in a master's program in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the area of finance, accounting, or reporting.
  • Availability for a possible start as soon as possible.
  • Outstanding analytical and numerical skills.
  • Safe handling of Excel; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Meticulous, reliable working style, including the ability to work independently after a training period.
  • Good communication skills in English and German.
