Working Student (m/f/d) Archive in the Strategic Projects Team

The Strategic Projects team of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) manages, among other things, the organization's archive, in addition to numerous high-profile outreach events.

• The focus of your work will be on reviewing and organizing material.
• During your time in the team, this foundational archival work will be the focus of your efforts.
• In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in supporting strategic MSC projects, where possible.
  
  

• Studies in the field of Archival and Documentation Studies or Political Science
• Understanding of organizational and cataloging standards
• Strong organizational talent and hands-on mentality
• Distinct ability for structured, independent, and precise work
• Historical and political understanding: Ability to place documents in their temporal and societal context
• Knowledge of International Politics and Security Policy as well as their actors over the last 70 years
• Knowledge of the history of the MSC
• Sense of responsibility, discretion, and confidentiality
• Endurance, stress resistance, and resilience
• Team spirit and communication
• Fluent English and German skills
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of digital archive management systems
