Job description

SFX E-Commerce sells E-Scooter/E-Bike spare parts worldwide through Shopify, eBay, and Amazon. Code, Operations, and Support are now running very much over LLM-Agents – we're building our entire infrastructure ourselves.

We're looking for a remote Werkstudent:in to build real data- and backend-features – not just tickets to be processed, but an area to take over and deliver. The difference is in the "passt für genau dein Modell". Exactly at the technology behind it you'll work. We're a small, fast team and are looking for someone who thinks along with us instead of just working.

Aufgaben

  • Data- and backend-features in our stack build (TypeScript + Go, Postgres) – from the idea to live on Cloud Run
  • LLM-Agents (Claude Code/Codex) orchestrate, to deliver faster – you review, bring them online, and take responsibility for the result
  • Embeddings-based product-matching improve (pgvector + Gemini), edge-cases solve
  • Competitive- and market-data automatically collect and make usable
  • Knowledge-pipelines build: data from various sources → structured → searchable → autonomous data processing
  • Take over your own area, deliver independently, report daily

Qualifikation

  • Residence in Germany and enrolled at a German university (Werkstudent) – no freelancers or self-employed individuals
  • Ideal candidate is in the Master, just before completion – only thesis open (but still enrolled), with full focus
  • Practical experience in TypeScript and Go (not just one of them)
  • Familiar with Postgres/SQL, APIs, Git; plus: pgvector/Embeddings, Scraping, LLM-APIs
  • Already productive with ChatGPT/Claude/Cursor/Codex
  • Strong asynchronous communication – writes clearly, documents decisions, drives things forward without meetings
  • Very good English or German
  • Self-starter, hands-on, takes responsibility

Benefits

  • Speed is key – short paths, directly to the founder
  • Hands-on from day 1 – no 4-week shadowing
  • Earn real responsibility over systems that generate money today
  • Agent-native work – niche in 2026, standard in 3 years
  • 100% remote, flexible hours (ca. 20 h/week, during lecture period max. 20 h)
  • Fair remuneration: €19–22/h brutto, above Werkstudent standards
  • Contract: fixed-term 1–3 months, option for extension

🎥 Bewerbung nur mit Screencast-Video (5–15 Min) – ohne Video keine Rückmeldung.

Enter your application via the form:

  • Video-Link (YouTube unlisted or Loom)
  • 3 Sätze, why this role
  • CV (optional)

Also

Before you apply, show us briefly how you think – two small tasks:

Sketch in Excalidraw roughly how you envision an Agentic workflow – e.g., how a LLM-Agent automatically maps new supplier-product data into our catalog and escalates uncertain cases. Screenshot or link is fine.

Describe in 3–5 sentences: If you had access to our codebase and data tomorrow morning, what would be your first concrete step to automate a recurring process as a data- or backend-feature?

Show both in the video briefly or enter as text/image via the form.
