Working Student Mobile Development (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Your Area as a Working Student in Mobile Development:

• Real Code, Real Product: You'll support us in our existing Flutter codebase and help develop new features.
• Broader Perspective: You'll look beyond the mere requirements and always keep our users in mind during development.
• From Idea to the Store: Writing code isn't everything. With us, you'll gain insights into our CI/CD pipelines and learn how modern release management works in the Apple App Store and Google Play Console.
• Understanding Architecture: With us, you'll learn how to build an app architecture and adapt it to new requirements. If existing structures seem illogical to you, we expect you to ask questions.
• Problem Solving Instead of Copy-Paste: You'll analyze bugs and performance bottlenecks, understand the root cause, and fix them sustainably.

• Hands-on Experience: You already have initial experience with Flutter and Dart. Most importantly, we want you to be able to present your own projects (hobby, university, open source, own app). Therefore, please definitely include work samples with your application (a link is perfectly sufficient).
• Mindset & Work Style: You enjoy working independently and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can sometimes shift.
• Critical Thinking: You naturally use AI tools as a sparring partner – but never as an autopilot. You don't blindly accept generated code, but understand what it does and question the proposed solutions.
• Communication: You communicate in a way that makes others want to work with you – remotely, clearly, and reliably. You have a German language proficiency of at least level C2.
• Studies: You are currently enrolled (Computer Science, Media Informatics, or similar) and ideally still have a few semesters ahead of you.
• Pace: You have the ability to quickly learn new things.
• Residence: You have a permanent residence in Germany.
