M&A Student (10-20 hours/week)

Argos is a Family Office from Munich. For more than 20 years, we have been searching and acquiring successful medium-sized family-owned businesses in DE/AT/CH to continue them long-term.

We are looking for an engaged student (m/w) for our M&A department who wants to gain practical experience in an exciting environment. At Argos, we place great value on motivation, initiative, and professional communication. The role offers you the opportunity to learn about the M&A business and from experienced investors. You will work directly with the management team.

Tasks

• Identification and approach of M&A targets (80%): We have developed a KI-based process for identifying and approaching companies. You are responsible for this process in its entirety.
• Deal support through research and analysis (20%): For specific M&A projects, you will support the investment team with research and analysis.

Qualification

• Study of any field from the third semester onwards
• 10-20 hours per week (flexible to adapt according to study load)
• Location: Munich (work from our office at Theresienwiese)
• Interest in M&A and economic themes
• High level of detail orientation, even for repetitive tasks
• Excellent written expression for professional business letters
• Basic understanding of AI usage
• German as mother tongue
