Working Student Legal (m/f/d)

Ocumeda's legal department is currently being established, and you can help shape it from the very beginning. As a Working Student Legal, you will work hand in hand with our General Counsel on everything that arises legally in a growing Healthtech scale-up, from contracts and competition law to international expansion projects and the digitalization of the department. Instead of just providing support, you will take on real tasks and see how a young company works with them. This is a good fit if you think in a structured way, approach things pragmatically, and are excited by Legal Tech.

• Contracts: You will support the creation, review, and management of contracts and help further develop our standard templates.
• Legal Tech and Digitalization: You will build digital processes and tools for the legal department with us, such as the contract database, templates, and workflows.
• Legal Research and Support: You will prepare legal questions in a structured manner and provide reliable bases for decision-making.
• Legal Project Management: You will coordinate ongoing projects, keep an eye on deadlines, and bring structure to daily business.
• Room for your interests: If specific legal topics are close to your heart, we will surely find something for you. Perhaps you will accompany our expansion into new markets or support Ocumeda in bringing its own AI application to market.

The Must-Haves:

• Ongoing law studies with current enrollment (e.g., as part of a doctorate or LL.M.), ideally with a completed first state examination or a foreign equivalent
• You work in a highly structured and organized manner and maintain an overview even with multiple parallel tasks
• Experience with or a clear interest in Legal Tech
• Pragmatic, dynamic, hands-on mentality; you get involved and help decide, rather than just analyze
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken

• Experience in a start-up or scale-up
• Initial exposure to one of our subject areas (telemedicine, AI, advertising law, data protection)
• Interest in Healthtech or regulated industries
• Knowledge of Spanish, Dutch, or Italian
