Working Student Communications Design (gn)

Remmert develops and builds automated storage and intralogistics systems for long goods, sheet metal, and workpieces. Our customers are companies from the metal processing industry throughout Europe. As a family-run medium-sized company with international ambitions, we combine technical precision with long-term customer relationships.

The Project:

Our brand has grown, as have our products and target groups. Now we want to strategically further develop Remmert's brand image. This is not about a new beginning, but about sharpening the existing corporate design and making it future-proof. As a Working Student Communications Design (gn), you will focus on these three aspects at our location in Hüllhorst:

• Product Branding: Development of clear design rules for our machines and systems

• Corporate Communication: Company communication directed internally and externally in all its facets

• Market Communication: Further development and streamlining of visual communication tools such as advertisements, trade fairs, and the website

Your Tasks

• Analysis of the existing brand presence across all channels and media

• Participation in the development and implementation of a design system with a common brand core and differentiated levels for product, company, and market

• Further development of the Corporate Design Manual, including application examples and templates

• Support for implementation, for example in print and sales documents, website, social media, trade fair appearances, and presentations

• Active participation in ongoing marketing projects

• Close cooperation with marketing, sales, product management, and agencies; presentation of interim results

Your Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in Communications Design, Graphic Design, Media Design, or a comparable field, ideally at the Master's level

• Sound knowledge of typography, corporate design, and brand development

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); Figma is a plus

• Conceptual thinking and the ability to logically justify design decisions

• Interest in industry and technology: You are eager to design a B2B brand in mechanical engineering

• Very good German language skills, good English language skills

• Availability for at least 12 months, up to 20 hours per week during the lecture period

Option for Master's Thesis

The project is suitable as a basis for a Master's thesis, for example on brand architecture or the differentiation of brand levels in the B2B environment. We will coordinate supervision with you and your university.
