Student Assistant - AI and Process Automation (All Genders)

Tasks

• Evaluation of modern automation tools (including n8n, activepieces, and KI-based services)
• Building small technical prototypes and use-case demos (e.g. document classification, automated routing, API orchestration)
• Comparison of tools based on defined criteria (e.g. security, self-hosting, API capability, governance, expandability)
• Testing & documentation of low-code and AI workflows
• Technical research tasks on trends in the field of KI-agents, RAG, automation, and open-source stacks
• Creation of short internal enablement guides (setup instructions, do's & don'ts, learnings)
• Preliminary work for go-to-market materials (demo scripts, comparison tables, mini-use cases)

Qualification

• You have extensive experience in Java development and knowledge of common frameworks, such as Spring/Spring Boot
• You are confident in handling developer tools, such as Maven/Gradle and Git
• You are familiar with the use of relational databases
• You are a flexible team player whose passion is solving complex problems
• You master the German language fluently and English language well, so you can communicate with our customers and business partners on your area of expertise
